I find Christ among young students that struggle and flourish while in college.
I work as Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Emmanuel College in Boston. I often reflect on the numerous projects the students realized about education, justice and equity, community service, diversity and inclusion, protection of the environment, and prayer life. They are building the Kingdom of God. Some do not even mention God’s name or call God by other names since they practice different religions. I hope that I am contributing to their growth and transformation. The relationships are always two-way interactions. I learn as much as they do.
It is a privilege to walk with students in their journey through college. I see their transformation into young adults capable of changing the world and doing it with respect and compassion for each other and the people they encounter.
