Education for life has been at the heart of our ministry since we began as a community of sisters. Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur serve as teachers and administrators in elementary and secondary schools,in parishes as religious education teachers and administrators, colleges and universities, Montessori schools, adult education centers and through the Notre Dame Virtual School, an on-line ministry.
Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur reach out to others through a variety of social service ministries. This includes outreach to people living in poverty, the sick or elderly in need of support, immigrants who are finding their footing in a new country, those who suffer the ravages of human trafficking, the homeless, who are often women with young children.
Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur serve as liturgists and pastoral associates in parish settings, as pastoral counselors in hospital, long term care and assisted living settings and in retreat centers.
